Laura Gorski (1982 São Paulo/ Brazil) is a visual artist as well as an illustrator and an educator currently living and working in Berlin.
The relationship between drawing, space and landscape is one of the most important research subjects in her art work. In her latest projects, she has been working with the idea of constructed landscapes and displacement, considering the broader concept of landscape and investigating the possibility of building artificial natures from their real elements.
Among her recent accomplishments, she realiSed several national and some international exhibitions from which stands out the solo shows Stoppage at Zipper Galeria, São Paulo - Brazil and Built Landscapes at SESC Pinheiros, São Paulo - Brazil and group exhibitions as Boîte Invaliden, held in the Invaliden1 Gallery - Berlin and Recôncavo Biennial at Sao Felix, Bahia - Brazil, in which she was awarded the Acquisition Prize.
She is part of a brazilian artist’s group coordinated by Sandra Cinto and Albano Afonso called Ateliê Fidalga.
